The tool reads the PNG Alpha channel, builds a contour, and expands it with an equal-width Euclidean distance field. The original artwork is composited back over the outline so its colors and transparency remain intact.
The default mode preserves the original dimensions for stickers, emoji, and icons. Enable canvas expansion to add room around the image and keep outlines near every edge.
Outline width is measured in source-image pixels. Smoothing softens the contour so edges look more natural while keeping the outline crisp and defined.
