A HEX color code consists of 6 hexadecimal characters (e.g. #FF5733). The first two represent the red channel, the middle two the green channel, and the last two the blue channel. It is the most common color representation in web development.
RGB uses red, green, and blue channel values (0–255) that directly correspond to screen display. HSL uses Hue (0–360°), Saturation (%), and Lightness (%) — a more intuitive model for creating harmonious color schemes and making adjustments.
CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Key/Black) is the color model used in print design. If you need screen colors for printed materials, CMYK values help estimate print output more accurately. Note that screen and print colors may differ.
